Legends

Description

“Legends” draws on my love of blues and jazz music which heavily influenced me growing up in New Orleans.  You could also call this the sequel to the BB King poster I completed 18 years earlier.

After making this composition in Photoshop it promptly sat for 8 years. Unable to dedicate the space and time to draw it at the scale and fidelity I wanted to it sat patiently.

In the beginning of 2021 I got a new iPad and decided it was the perfect piece to test out new techniques and build up my digital drawing skills. This is my first major digital drawing. Now for the first time ever it is available for print.
